Village of Waynesfield Park

The Village of Waynesfield Park, which is where the future Waynesfield Veterans Memorial will be,  is located on the south end of the village at 1 Park Drive, Waynesfield. There are three baseball diamonds, two shelter houses, restrooms, a basketball court, volleyball court, and play area. Soon, there will feature a lighted walking path.

The park is open from dawn until dusk unless special permission is granted. The park is also available for rent. For an application, please contact the fiscal officer at 419-568-4991, option 3. To see available dates to rent the park, click here to go to the calendar and see if the park is rented. There is a $25 fee that must accompany the park rental form to secure the park grounds on the desired day.

 

Park Rental
In order to rent the park, you must complete a rental agreement form and submit payment at:

300 N. Westminster Street,

Waynesfield, OH 45896

Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; excluding holidays.

 

RENTAL PAYMENTS: For rental of the above referenced property the Lessee shall pay the sum of $25.00/day.

DUTIES OF LESSEE. Lessee shall use the leased property in a careful and proper manner and shall agree not to permit any leased property to be operated or used in violation of any applicable Federal, State or Local statute, law, ordinance, rule or regulation relating to the possession, use or maintenance of better condition of cleanliness and neatness and shall remove all refuse or other items or material brought upon the premises by the Lessee. Should Lessee fail to leave the rental property in the same or better condition, Lessor reserves the right to return the property to its prior condition and to recover from Lessee the cost of same.

LESSEES DUTY TO INDEMNIFY. Lessee shall assume, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lessor, its agents and employees from all claims, loss, or damage the Lessor may sustain or suffer the loss or damage to any of the rented property for any cause, the injury or death of any person including but not limited to agents or employees of Lessee, or damage to any property arising from the use, possession, condition, or operation of any rented property.

OBLIGATION SURVIVE LEASED TERM. The indemnities and assumptions of risk, liabilities and obligations by the Lessee arising under this rental agreement during the rental term shall continue in effect after the termination of this rental agreement regardless of reason for termination.

RIGHTS OF LESSOR. Lessor expressly reserves the right to terminate this rental agreement at any time, for any reason and to retake possession of the rented premises.

REMEDIES OF LESSEE. Lessees remedy for nay breach or any alleged breach of this Rental Agreement is hereby expressly limited to a return of the rent paid by Lessee.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT. No agreements, representations, or warranties, other than those specifically set forth in this Rental Agreement shall be binding on any of the parties unless set forth in writing and signed by both parties.

SAVING CLAUSE. If any provision of this Rental Agreement or the application of any provision to any party or circumstance is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of this Rental Agreement and the application of the provision to the other parties or circumstances shall remain valid and in full force and effect.
