Code Section 93.40 Keeping down Weeds
Any person owning or having charge of land within the municipality shall keep such property free and clear from all noxious weeds and rank vegetation and shall be requested to cut all such weeds and vegetation on the lots owned or controlled by him or her.
Any weeds, grass, or plants, other than trees, bushes, flowers, or other ornamental plants, growing to a height exceeding twelve (12) inches is considered a violation of Code Section 93.40.
ORDINANCE 06-05-1 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 92-8-3
TO SET RATES FOR MOWING AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Village is mowing quite a lot or residential properties at cost of time, equipment and employees, and
WHEREAS, the current Ordinance 92-8-3 does not offset these uses
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Waynesfield, County of Auglaize, State of Ohio that the Ordinance 92-8-3 be amended as follows:
In Section 1: That the rates for mowing of residential properties I the Village of Waynesfield by Village employees are to be as follows:
Two hundred ($200.00) Dollars per hour per employee mowing plus Five ($5.00) Dollars per gallon of fuel used.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this Ordinance be declared an emergency for the Health, Safety and Welfare of the Residents of the Village of Waynesfield and go into effect immediately.

ORDINANCE 98-9-2 AN ORDINANCE TO ASSESS THE COST OF MOWING ON THE REAL ESTATE TAX DUPLICATE AND CERTIFYING TO THE COUNTY AUDITOR
WHEREAS, The Village of Waynesfield has done mowing on lots within the Village which are owned by various residents of the Village
WHEREAS, These bills for mowing have not been paid by the owners of these properties
SECTION I. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Waynesfield, County of Auglaize, State of Ohio that any and all mowing fees for properties which have not been paid to the Village of Waynesfield be assessed to the real estate tax duplicate and certified to the County Auditor.
SECTION II. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this Ordinance be declared an emergency for the Health, Safety and Welfare of the residents of the Village of Waynesfield, and go into effect immediately.
