Barking Dog Ordinance 68-10-1
An ordinance to eliminate a disturbance of the peace and quiet of the Village of Waynesfield, caused by the habitual barking, howling, or yelping of dogs. And for the health and welfare of the people of Waynesfield, Ohio, and to declare an emergency.
Section I: It is unlawful for any person or persons to harbor or keep any dog which by loud and frequent, or habitual barking, howling or yelping, shall cause serious annoyance, or disturbance to persons residing or being in the neighborhood.
Section II: Any person or persons violating this Ordinance shall be fined not more than fifty dollars ($50.00).
Section III: This ordinance shall go into effect immediately.
Passed October 7, 1968 unanimously on one vote as an emergency.
